I'm super excited because tomorrow night my boys and I r going to c the new super Mario galaxy movie at 9pm. I can't wait! And also first week back to work after 2 weeks off and I feel so much better there now as well. Also gonna work with the dogs to walk and train them better. Plus this weather we had the last 2 days was B E A U tiful! Mother nature is trying to make it up to me because she rained on my parade, lol literally though. Hope u all have a fantastic day/night!
My win today is reaching a point where I am starting to find my way forward again. Reconnecting with life, and my work, gives me something that matters to keep my mind occupied. We've spent the last week or so with our kids and family. And we are all slowly starting to navigate our new normal. I appreciate all of you, and our family here at Grounded Fire as we've been processing through this terrible change in our world.
I've never been one to give up on life, even in the darkest of moments. And I know she wouldn't have wanted me to let all of this fall apart. If anything, I have an idea of what needs to come next. But for now, lets just take it one day at a time. And we will keep her memory alive together, Always<3
My first win of this past week was just surviving it. lol

Sharing a message I wrote to this morning as a way of coping right now. It made me, and others, laugh. So i figured I'd share for your amusement:
Captains log:
Day 45,678 of winter.
I had to plow the hostile white marshmallow out of the vehicle parking area again today, so the small humans could board the precarious yellow metal boxes on circular travel coasters to get to the building of education.
No one knows why it was open today, or how the metal boxes managed to navigate the toxic marshmallow covered roads. But yet, here we are.
I made a sacrifice to the evil marshmallow gods to protect the male of the species, who is driving one of those metal boxes full of tiny terrorists in this marshmallow vomit. So that he may return back to home base safely after his precarious endeavor.
That’s awesome Maureen. Yes, this beautiful weather has given me a reboot lol. Regarding training dogs, Roxy actually responds better without words. It’s still hard for me not to use words though lol but I notice sometimes I just give her a look and she knows what I’m trying to say. Maybe it’s the look and body language. But I don’t know how that would work with two dogs at the same time 😂 When it comes to walking, she’s a puller. I can’t use a collar because my mom messed up her esophagus when she was younger. So I use a front clip harness. It does help a lot. The back clip harnesses make them go faster! Good luck and have fun Maureen 💜
