Welcome to the Practice Circle

Before we start practicing psychic or intuitive skills, we need to build one foundational ability that everything else depends on: learning how to quiet the mind.

You do not need meditation in order to receive intuitive messages. Many people get intuitive information in everyday moments while they are driving, doing dishes, or having a conversation.

But meditation helps you learn something extremely important: how to step out of the constant mental noise that fills most of our day.

The world is full of distractions. Phones, notifications, conversations, worries about the future, replaying the past. Our minds are constantly jumping from one thought to the next. When your mind is doing that, it becomes very hard to notice subtle signals from your intuition.

So the very first practice in this group is incredibly simple.

For the next month, I want you to create the habit of doing a very small daily meditation.

Not thirty minutes.

Not a complicated ritual.

Just two minutes.

Your goal is not to become a perfect meditator. Your goal is to build the ability to pause and clear your mind whenever you need to.

Pick a time of day that is easiest for you to repeat consistently. It might be when you wake up, before bed, during lunch, or even sitting in your car before you go inside somewhere. The most important thing is that you do it every day so that your brain begins to recognize it as a habit.

When you sit down to do this practice:

Take a slow breath in.

Let it out slowly.

Relax your jaw.

Relax your shoulders.

Let your body soften.

Then simply observe your breath for a moment. If your mind starts thinking about something else, that’s completely normal. Just notice it and gently bring your attention back to your breath.

You are not trying to force your mind to be empty. You are learning how to notice your thoughts and return your focus.

This small skill is one of the most important foundations for intuitive development. The more familiar you become with your own mental noise, the easier it becomes to recognize when something different shows up.

If this is the only practice you do for the next month, that is perfectly okay. Building this habit will give you the basic ability to pause, return to yourself, and observe your mind and body more clearly.

And that skill will make every other intuitive exercise we explore later much easier.
